【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribestheobjectives,functionalrequirementsandguidelinesforthecontrolandmitigationoffiresandexplosionsonoffshoreinstallationsusedforthedevelopmentofhydrocarbonresources.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicableto:—fixedoffshorestructures;—floatingproduction,storageandoff-takesystems;forthepetroleumandnaturalgasindustries.MobileoffshoreunitsasdefinedinthisInternationalStandardandsubseainstallationsareexcluded,althoughmanyoftheprinciplescontainedinthisInternationalStandardmaybeusedasguidance.ThisInternationalStandardisbasedonanapproachwheretheselectionofcontrolandmitigationmeasuresforfiresandexplosionsisdeterminedbyanevaluationofhazardsontheoffshoreinstallation.Themethodologiesemployedinthisassessmentandtheresultantrecommendationswilldifferdependingonthecomplexityoftheproductionprocessandfacilities,typeoffacility(i.e.openorenclosed),manninglevels,andtheenvironmentalconditionsassociatedwiththeareaofoperation.UsersofthisInternationalStandardshouldnotethatwhileobservingitsrequirements,theyshould,atthesametime,ensurecompliancewithsuchstatutoryrequirements,rulesandregulationsasmaybeapplicabletotheindividualoffshoreinstallationconcerned.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedtomeasuretherateofoxidationforvariousgradesofmanufacturedcarbonandgraphiteinstandardconditions,andcanbeusedforqualitycontrolpurposes.Thistestmethodalsoprovideskineticparameters(activationenergyandlogarithmofpre-exponentialfactor)fortheoxidationreaction,andastandardoxidationtemperature.Theresultsuniquelycharacterizetheeffectoftemperatureonoxidationratesinair,andtheoxidationresistanceofmachinedcarbonorgraphitespecimenswithstandardsizeandshape,inthekinetic,orchemicallycontrolled,oxidationregime.Thisinformationisusefulfordiscriminationbetweenmaterialgradeswithdifferentimpuritylevels,grainsize,porestructure,degreeofgraphitization,orantioxidationtreatments,oracombinationthereof.5.3Accuratelydeterminedkineticparameters,likeactivationenergyandlogarithmofpre-exponentialfactor,canbeusedforpredictionofoxidationratesinairasafunctionoftemperatureinconditionssimilartothoseofthistestmethod.However,extrapolationofsuchpredictionsoutsidethetemperaturerangewhereArrheniusplotsarelinear(outsidethekineticorchemicallycontrolledregimeofoxidation)shouldbemadewithcaution.Inconditionswhereoxidationratesbecomecontrolledbyamechanismotherthanchemicalreactions,suchasin-porediffusionorboundarytransportoftheoxidantgas,predictionofoxidationratesusingkineticparametersdeterminedwiththistestmethodmayproduceoverestimatedresults.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstherateofoxidativeweightlossperexposednominalgeometricsurfacearea,orperinitialweightofmachinedtestspecimensofstandardsizeandshape,orboth.Thetestisvalidinthetemperaturerangewheretherateofairoxidationofgraphiteandmanufacturedcarbonislimitedbyreactionkinetics.1.2Thistestmethodalsoprovidesastandardoxidationtemperature(asdefinedin3.1.7),andthekineticparametersoftheoxidationreaction,namelytheactivationenergyandthelogarithmofpre-exponentialfactorinArrheniusequation.ThekineticparametersofArrheniusequationarecalculatedfromthetemperaturedependenceofoxidationratesmeasuredoverthetemperaturerangewhereArrheniusplots(asdefinedin3.1.8)arelinear,whichisdefinedasthex201C;kineticx201D;orx201C;chemicalcontrolx201D;oxidationregime.Fortypicalnucleargradegraphitematerialsitwasfoundthatthepracticalrangeoftestingtemperaturesisfromabout500x2013;550x00B0;Cuptoabout700x2013;750x00B0;C.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
