【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverssilver-coated,softorannealed,roundcopperwire,intendedforuseinelectricalequipment,asfollows:1.1.1ClassA-Wirewhosesilvercoatingisatleast1.25%ofthetotalweightofthecoatedwire.1.1.2ClassB-Wirewhosesilvercoatingisatleast2.50%ofthetotalweightofthecoatedwire.1.1.3ClassC-Wirewhosesilvercoatingisatleast4.00%ofthetotalweightofthecoatedwire.1.1.4ClassD-Wirewhosesilvercoatingisatleast6.10%ofthetotalweightofthecoatedwire.1.1.5ClassE-Wirewhosesilvercoatingisatleast10.00%ofthetotalweightofthecoatedwire.1.2Silver-coatedwirehavingdifferentminimumpercentagesofsilverbyweightmaybeobtainedbymutualagreementbetweenthemanufacturerandthepurchaser.Forinformationpurposesthethicknessofcoatinginmicroinchesprovidedbythepercentageslistedaboveisshownin(Explanatory).1.3TheSIvaluesofresistanceanddensityaretoberegardedasstandard.Forallotherpropertiesvaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsectionofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ForspecificprecautionarystatementsseeTable1andExplanatoryNote1.
